Getting ready... so why not start a blog in english?!
Hey everybody!
So this is my attempt to blog about my musical adventures! I guess there will be a lot of clichés but I kinda like clichés.. haha sunsets, unicorns and rainbows and all that kind of stuff! I also decided to write in english so all my lovely foreign friends can understand, my spelling may not be perfect but the main point is that you understand what Im talking about!
The band I play in used to be called The Shy Lads but right now we're about to change our name. The truth is that we've been thinking about a new bandname for almost 2 months and we still havent got one until this day. The reason why we want to change our name is that we are only 4 people in the band now. The band consist of my brother Jonas on guitar and vocals, Old buddy Puthe on bass and the new fantastic drummer and buddy Leo Lillsked. We have also changed our approach a bit and it is really another band.
We have been in the studio this summer together with the great almighty Ludwig Böss and it has been a thrill to work with him again. Right now the other great almighty Stefan Kvarnström is mixing the songs and we're in the final phase of the mixing part. We are going to release one song as a preview really soon to see what ya'll think!

Compare to the earlier stuff that we have made, on this record the lyrics are more in focus, I had been working on them for one year before we started to record them. I wanted to sing about us and what we come from, something that nobody else could sing about, the songs contains real stories and real characters. I think that comes from my Springsteen and Dylan fascination of telling stories. But the music is ofcourse really important, we rehearsed like hell this spring and I think it has really paid off. The garage rock sound is very present, there is also something new in there (at least thats what I think!). Everybody has been involved in writing the music and everybody has made their imprint on it.
